  • For those looking at potential replacement females on down the line, this lot 97 is going to have some BIG TIME value down the road. She's linebred around the most productive, bred and butter sow line that we've been working with for the last decade
  • Her pedigree reads (Bad Man x Perfect Remedy 4-8) x (No Mercy x Shooter x Perfect Remedy 4-8). 4-8 would be No Mercy's mom and the foundation sow for us here at Ottenwalter Show Pigs
  • This gilt is stout headed, huge ribbed, and extra loose jointed. She's got good shape and a big hip laid into her, yet really studies to be a great show gilt

Lot 98

Crossbred Gilt

Sunshine & Whiskey x Wedding Night 9-1

Eart Notch: 218-2

  • 98 and 99 are the last Sunshine's in the world!
  • Dam Wedding Night 9-1 is a littermate to the Grand Champion barrow at Arizona Nationals last year shown by Cheyenne Murdock, and she's one massive momma
  • We love how moderate and stout these gilts read, yet they're immature in their look and really look like they're only going to get better every day

Eart Notch: 238-1

  • We continue to be high on the 238 litter -- every individual has been impressive and we think is going to have a shot at a banner
  • 150-2 Anytime momma, "Blurry", was the highly successful gilt shown by the Gross family in Texas last winter, bred here, that we bought back from them at the World Pork Expo where she was a classwinner.
  • These gilts are very basic and fundamental in their build -- they're tall shouldered, good bodied, and level hipped and they study to be extra athletic off both ends

Lot 104

Crossbred Gilt

Unleashed x On Target 91-3

Eart Notch: 235-1

  • The Unleashed boar at Kurt Morgan's continues to do a great job for us and he will see heavy use in Colusa again when we fire back up breeding next month
  • On Target 91-3 momma from Cobb is loaded with shape and we think Unleashed was the ideal  mating here
  • This sexy blue gilt is moderate framed, tall fronted, and extra good off her rear two. Later May and June fair buyers better check her out!
