Offering 83 head of early to late November farrowed Crosses perfect for May, June, and early July shows, including the World Pork Expo and California State Fair Gilt Show. Additionally, we are offering 14 elite early December farrowed purebred Landraces, Yorks, and a Duroc barrow geared toward the World Pork Expo, Summer Spectacular, and July shows such as the California State Fair. 

 

Our longtime friend and industry leader Brian Anderson from Kansas will be working the sale. DELIVERY OPTIONS:

 

Midwest Delivery via Sweetheart's Sale

Ed Krische will be leaving from Colusa on Monday February 5th, headed east on I-80. His route will be as follows: I-80 east to Davenport, IA, then I-74 to Crawfordsville, IN and east on 32 to the Sweetheart's for the Summer Pig Sale in Lebanon, IN. Ed is able to make drops to points along the way, and also pick up of sale purchases can be made in Lebanon Thursday through Saturday, February 10. Ed is charging $125/hd cash or credit card, no checks. For more information, please contact Ed at (541) 778-2314. Additionally, points can be coordinated most directions from Lebanon with a little effort.

Midwest Delivery via Logan Went

Logan will be leaving from Colusa on Sunday morning, headed home to Creston, Nebraska. He will travel across I-80 through Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, and Nebraska. Southwest Delivery

Bob May will be leaving from Colusa the week of February 12th, headed south through the central valley in California before running I-40 through Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma. He will be traveling straight through and can make drops to any points along the way. Bob is charging $150/hd. with possible volume discounts. Northwest Delivery

Kristy Wille will be leaving from the sale on Saturday, headed home to Oregon City, OR. She's able to make drops along I-5 on her way home and can also potentially deliver into Washington. For more info and pricing, please contact Kristy at (503) 898-2632.

Moormans feed will be available for purchase at the sale

We will have Moormans feed available at the sale for purchase.  We feed and highly recommend Moormans feed and products. Colusa County Farm Supply is our local dealer, they are located at 5873 Freshwater Rd in Williams and can be reached at: (530) 473-2851. For those customers from out of the area looking to stock up on feed, Colusa Farm Supply's store will be open on Saturday and they have all Moormans feed in stock. We suggest stopping by Farm Supply on the way to the saleAdditionally, Moorman's Feed can be purchased from Northern California Feed & Mineral, located at 1526 Hwy 45 in Glenn. Choice of Champions Products will be available at the sale

In addition to Moorman's Feed, we also highly recommend the Choice of Champions line of products.  Amanda and Russell Pedrett will have a booth offering all of the COC Products: U Shield, Lung Aid, Super Joint, Super Derm, and Easy Does It, in addition to the best show pig whips money can buy. We highly suggest using Lung Aid and U Shield to promote and maintain the general health of your show pigs following the stress of transport, in particular with the lack of beneficial antibiotics in feed this year.

RULES & ELIGIBILITY
All awards are to be used for buying credit only, through either our farm sales or online auctions. Buying credit may not be used for private treaty purchases.
Winning animal must have been purchased from Ottenwalter Show Pigs.
A color photo from the show, preferably in front of the backdrop is required. Please email all photos to russellpedrett@gmail.com.
Pig identification (ear notch) of winner must match the identification of said pig when purchased.
Eligibility is based on livestock project being associated with a youth or junior show
Jackpot & prospect shows do not qualify.
Rewards are limited to 1 reward per winning showpig; a winning showpig will not be eligible for more than 1 reward
