Offering 94 head of Crossbreds, Yorks, Landraces, and Chesters perfect for late May and  June fairs, as well as the World Pork Expo and California State Fair Junior Gilt Show. We are also offering 13 ELITE late December/early January pigs geared toward July fairs, including the very first offspring sired by Wedding Night!

Our trailer will head out Tuesday, March 1st headed to the Southwest Type Conference in Belton, TX. We will travel down I-5 through the central valley in California, before connecting with I-10 across Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. We can make deliveries to points along the way, including but not limited to:

Midwest Delivery:

Ed Krische will be leaving from the sale on Saturday afternoon, headed east on I-80 and going as far east as Dayton, Ohio. He can make deliveries to points along I-80 through Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Iowa, as well as throughout Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. From Ohio, he plans to travel to Belton, TX and can make deliveries along the way. Ed is charging $125/hd with potential volume discounts. Oregon Delivery

Delivery can be arranged to the Medford, OR area, as well as the Klamath Falls, OR area, and potentially points further north as well. Please contact Russell for more details (530) 681-9811.

 

Moormans feed will be available for purchase at the sale
Colusa County Farm Supply will have feed available at the sale starting around 2:00 for purchase. Please bring a separate check or cash to purchase feed with. Also, for those customers from out of the area looking to stock up on feed, Colusa Farm Supply's store will be open until noon on Saturday and they have all Moormans feed in stock. We suggest stopping by Farm Supply on the way to the sale. They are located at 5873 Freshwater Rd in Williams and can be reached at: (530) 473-2851.


IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING HEALTH CERTIFICATES
For our Oregon and other out of state customers attending the sale, please check in at the vet table as soon as you can on Sunday before the sale and give the vet your name, address, and phone number so he will be able to get started on your health papers. This will facilitate the process of loading and checking out so you can get your animals loaded up and headed home in a timely manner.

All awards are to be used for buying credit only, through either our farm sales or online auctions. Buying credit may not be used for private treaty purchases.
Winning animal must have been purchased from Ottenwalter Show Pigs.
A color photo from the show, preferably in front of the backdrop is required. Please email all photos to russellpedrett@gmail.com.
Pig identification (ear notch) of winner must match the identification of said pig when purchased.
Eligibility is based on livestock project being associated with a youth or junior show
Jackpot & prospect shows do not qualify.
