It was a HAPPY DAY when we brought this guy back from isolation! We knew he was extremely good but we didn’t realize just how special he is until we got him home and in the show barn after a long cold winter in a dark pen by himself. “AG” brings the freak pieces without sacrificing build and correctness of skeleton. He is undoubtedly the most “out there” boar we have raised and we are simply in awe of how well he handles himself! “AG” was raised in our isolation barn on a full feeder of Moormans 16. He is as wide from stifle to stifle as anything you’ll come across, and yet his hock sets square and his reach is excellent. He’s got strong pasterns, is SLICK throated, and has a big stout skull. In many ways AG reminds us of the boar Toxic back in the day, he’s got a big trap muscle up above his blade and he is LOADED with topside power.
We expect AG to bring some SERIOUS PUNCH in terms of muscle, shape, sharp look, and by the way his bones are enormous. For those who know Russell, he’s not always impressed by the freak pieces but he is breeding every sow he can to this guy!
A littermate barrow was Grand at Frio County, TX. AG’s Dam 222-7 is one of our most impressive American Spirit daughters who raised the 4th Overall Dark Cross Gilt at CYAE last year.
